Please read these Terms and Conditions of Service carefully. They may change.

This website, with URL address http://www.hellosaramoss.com, its policies and the services offered from it, are owned and provided by Sara Moss, ABN: 77 876 266 719, residing in Queensland, Australia.

The term ‘Sara Moss’ or ‘Sara’ or ‘us’ or ‘our’ or ‘we’ refers to Sara Moss, the owner and service provider. The term ‘you’ or ‘your’ refers to the client, the purchaser of a service from Sara Moss.

You’ll be deemed to have had read and accepted these Terms and Conditions of Service if you provide us with personal information and payment (engagement of service).

Should you not agree with any of these terms and conditions, please do not engage our services.

These Terms and Conditions of Service are governed by your and our good sense and reasonable intentions, in addition to the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from an engagement of service shall be governed by the laws of Queensland. You accept we take no responsibility for any changes to such laws and the effect these changes may have on our services.

You warrant you are authorised to enter into this agreement; that you are engaging a service to discuss your own original work and not infringing upon any third-party rights.

By engaging our services, you and Sara are also agreeing:

Privacy and IP

  • To the terms of our privacy policy.

  • It’s understood that while all care is taken, no means of internet-based communication is completely free of the risk of unlawful interference by others.

  • We hold the intellectual property rights to all Sara Moss-branded materials provided as part of this service. These materials are for your personal reference only.

Consultation etiquette

  • Both parties will show up on time to consultations on Zoom, wearing headphones / EarPods. 

  • Otherwise: Sara will wait for 10 minutes on Zoom. If you arrive within those first 10 minutes, the consultation will end at the originally-scheduled time. If you don’t arrive, Sara will end the meeting after 10 minutes and deem a no-show. 

 Consultation no-shows, rescheduling, cancellation and refunds

  • If you miss a scheduled consultation without notice, it will not be rescheduled or refunded.

  • If you reschedule a consultation:

    • with more than 48 hours’ notice — this is preferable :-)

    • with less than 48 hours’ notice — a rescheduling option cannot be guaranteed.

  • If you cancel a scheduled consultation:

    • with more than 72 hours’ notice — a refund will be made to the original method of payment, minus payment processing fees

    • with less than 72 hours’ notice — it is non-refundable.

  • If Sara cancels a scheduled consultation, a full refund will be made to the method of payment used in the original transaction.

 Grounds for immediate termination of contract

  • By mutual agreement in writing

  • Abusive or threatening language or behaviour

  • Failure to provide information requested which allows us to provide this service

General

  • Manuscript evaluation is not part of a Story Intensive or author mentorship.

  • If you engage our services, we are not liable for your resulting actions or inactions, now or in the future, and you indemnify us from and against all claims, suits, demands, actions, liabilities, costs and expenses.

  • Nobody can ethically promise you: best-seller status, award nominations, acceptance by an agent or a publication contract. These are all within the control of other people.
